Dora Wilhelmina (Davis) Farrington was a professor at Hunter College in New York City, now CUNY. She is the author of They Saw America Born, the narrative of the Allison/Davis allied families and their progression across the United States. Her manuscript for TSAB was placed in the collection of the New England Historic and Genealogical Society.
