Donnie Lee Watkins, 80, Michigantown, died December 1, 2009, at the home of his granddaughter.
He was born October 4, 1929, in Clinton County, to Roy Lee and Mary E. (Young) Watkins. He married Mary Ann Laughner on January 2, 1948, and she preceded him in death in August on 1994.
Survivors include one daughter, Connie (Jerry Sr.) Hill of Frankfort; one grandson, David Birden on Michigantown; one granddaughter, Shannon (Richard) Gray of Frankfort; one sister, Betty Bradley of Lebanon; six great-grandchildren, David Thomas Russell, Samantha Marie Oldham, Tyler Gray, JanDel Bibler, Hailie Brown and Christopher Birden; two great-great grandchildren, Lyrick Jean Lunsford and Havan Lunsford; two step-great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, and infant son, one brother and one sister.
