Donald M. Wotring, 82 years, of Germansville, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Twp. He was the widower of Joyce M. (Gross) Wotring. Born in New Tripoli, he was a son of the late Woodrow and Grace (Snyder Werley) Wotring.
He was a train operator for the former Trojan Powder Co. for 39 years. Donald was a member of Christ's Church at Lowhill in New Tripoli.
Survivors: Daughters; Nancy wife of William Huber of Emmaus, Kathleen wife of Rick Hengeveld of Allentown, and Sandra Wotring-Walbert wife of Dwight Walbert of Breinigsville, sons; Kenneth and wife Linda C. of Kutztown, David and wife Linda of Canadensis, and George and wife Cindy of Slatington, sisters; Maryann Wotring and companion Sydney Day of Fogelsville and Leanna Miller of Schnecksville, 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Kenneth Wotring, Jr., and great-grandson, Andrew Carter Hengeveld.
Services: 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 25 at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville with The Rev. Russell Campbell officiating. Visitation will be from 3:30 to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 24. Interment will be at Lowhill Cemetery, New Tripoli.
