Helen bought a new 1983 Buick from Don, with no miles on it.

Helen maintained correspondence with Don throughout WWII, he was stationed in New Guinea. Joyce was in school with Helen, a couple years older. Joyce had a twin sister. Helen palled around with the two girls. Helen introduced Don and Joyce.

He came to live with Helen's mom after the war -- Helen's daddy helped him get at job at the looming company -- his mom died while he was in the war.
