Caldwell County, Missouri – Obituaries – Book 1977, pg 50 Donald Michael Stone

    Donald Michael Stone, 64, of 17 Pershore Lane, Bella Vista, Ark., died February 21, 1977 at Bates Memorial Hospital, Bentonville, Ark.
    He was born December 2, 1912, in Hamilton, son of Fred and Marcella Michael Stone. He was retired insurance agent and farmer.  He moved to Arkansas in August of 1975. He was a member of the Methodist church, the A.A.R.P. and Bentonville-Belle Vista Lions Club.
    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. S. Gae (Rone) Stone, of the home; a son, Mike Stone, Anchorage, Alaska; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Dickey, Kansas City; and a brother, Roy Stone, Cowgill.  He is also survived by three grandchildren, Jeff, Jarett, and Joy, one son- in-law, Roger Dickey.
    He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
    Funeral services were conducted Thursday, February 24, at 2:00 o’clock in the United Methodist Church, Cowgill, with Rev. Tom Boller officiating.
    Pallbearers were Gene Ensign, Pat Berning, Grafton Bowers, Howard Bowman, Dennis Goddard and John Trageser.
    Organ selections were by Mrs. Estel Bowers who played “How Great Thou Art”.
    Burial was in the Cowgill Cemetery under the direction of Pitts Funeral Service of Braymer.
