    "Services for Donald McVicker, 53 were held Monday, July 15, at 2 o"clock at the Eyler Funeral Chapel. The Rev. E. C. Allen, Methodist Pastor officiated and burial was at Clarion Evergreen Cemetery."
    "Ira Donald McVicker, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Claude D. McVicker, was born at Eagle Grove, Iowa, on April 13, 1910 and passed away at his home in Clarion, Iowa on July 11, 1963."
    "He was employed by the Wright County Rural Electric Cooperative for 25 years as a line superintendent."
    "He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Clarion Methodist Church. He had served for 23 years on the Clarion Volunteer Fire Department."
    "Surviving are his wife Dorothy, 5 children . . . two step-daughters; seven grandchildren; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Claude D. McVicker of Eagle Grove; and six sisters, Florence, Mary, Martha, Beth, Claudia and Kaye other relatives and friends. A son Claude David preceded him death."
