Donald F. Macha Jr., 51, of Grove Avenue Group Home died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at Veedum Moravian Church, Veedum. The Revs. Staci Marrese-Wheeler and Beth Macha will officiate. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery in Pittsville. The family will great friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at the church. Buchanan Funeral Home, Pittsville, is handling arrangements. Donald Macha Jr. was born May 14, 1955, at the U.S. Army Hospital in Fort Knox, Ky., to Donald F. Macha Sr. and Emma (Braun) Macha. Donald attended Pittsville and Marshfield schools. He was employed at Opportunity Development Centers Inc., Huntington Avenue, Wisconsin Rapids. Donald enjoyed going to work, bowling, dancing and watching sports. Survivors include his parents of Pittsville; two sisters, Donna Stanczyk of Custer and Beth Macha (Art Hanson) of Green Bay; nephew, Brad (Laurie) Jakusz; great-nephews, Austin, Christian and Traeton of Stevens Point; niece, Nicole Jakusz of Stevens Point; great-niece, Caitlin Faust of Rudolph; five aunts, Mildred (Eugene) Kulhanek and Hazel Nordman of Pittsville, Irene Schloesser (Louis Liggio) of Lac du Flambeau, Ferne Hutter and Lorraine Braun of Marshfield; uncles, Harold Macha of Louisiana and Richard Macha of Missouri; and cousins. Donald was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and uncles, Robert Braun and Kenneth Macha. Memorials have been designated to Opportunity Development Centers Inc., 1191 Huntington Ave., Wisconsin Rapids. Buchanan Funeral Home, Pittsville, is handling the arrangements. |
