BURLINGTON — Mr. Donald A. Isley, 65, 1437 Watkins Road, Burlington, died at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 5:23 p.m.

A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Branch Alexander Isley and Louise Graves Cook Isley. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a sawmill operator. He was a member of Bellemont United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Ms. Martha I. Johnson of Graham; two nephews, Bruce Johnson of Swan Quarter and Curt Johnson of Graham; and a special friend, Britt Smith of Burlington.

The funeral will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Dr. Jerry A. Jackson and the Rev. R. E. L. Moser. Burial will follow in Bellemont United Methodist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Saturday, January 5, 2008 from 1 until 2 p.m.
