GEIGER, Donald Christopher age 60 of Clayton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 29, 2014 as a result of an automobile accident. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He formerly worked at Dayton Progress for 5 years and was working at DRT Manufacturing Company (Adena) for the past 35 years. Don was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. He loved spending time with his family and being at home. Don loved Halloween and enjoyed carving pumpkins. He also loved music, movies, his hot rod, jet skiing and the Cincinnati Bengals, "Who Dey". He is survived by his wife of 40 years: Janet (Hudson) Geiger, children: Kerry (Les) Lairson of Vandalia, Donald (Jamie) Geiger II of Kettering, Nicholas (Jill) Geiger of Miami Township, mother: Virginia (Rettich) Geiger of Englewood, siblings: Linda (Stuart) Pearson of IL, Suzanne Noreikas of Huber Heights, Thomas (Kathy) Geiger of Centerville, Ginnie (Brad) Boord of Dayton, Jan Behrens of TX, grandchildren: Grace, Ryan, Lance, Joseph, Hugh, Claire, father-in-law: Calvert Hudson of Englewood, sister-in-law: Phyllis (James) Campion of Dayton, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Donald Joseph Geiger and mother-in-law: Alice Hudson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Precious Blood Catholic Church (4961 Salem Ave., Dayton) with Father Jim Seibert, C.P.P.S. as celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood).
