Donald Farquharson, who married Isabel, the only child of Duncan Stewart, commonly called Duncan Downa Dona, of the family of Mar, and obtained by her the lands of Invercauld and Aberarder in 1520. He also gained considerable favors for faithfull services rendered to the Crown. His son and successor was Findlay (Gaelic Fionn-laidh).
