    A Bentworth seventh grade student drowned while swimming in a pond on a farm in Somerset Twp. yesterday afternoon.

    Donald Eugene Crumrine, 14, of Somerset Twp. was pronounced dead at 3:30 p.m. after attempts to revive him were futile.

    Donald’s brother, Leroy, and a friend, Geril Gaiten of Somerset Twp., were also swimming in the pond on the farm of Irene Sobansky. They left the area for a short time. When they returned they noticed Donald floundering in the water.
