BENNETT - Donald H., born October 1, 1933, in New Florence, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Bolivar High School, Don attended Penn State and Pitt-Johnstown. He retired as a mining engineer with North American Coal Corporation. Don was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church in Johnstown, were he served as an elder, clerk of session, Sunday School teacher, and lay minister. Preceded in death by his wife, Marlene (Devich) Bennett; parents, Glessen Ruth (Loughner) and Wayne Eugene Bennett; and brother, Eugene Bennett. Survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Donald S. and Hope Bennett of Tampa, Florida; his granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Ashley and Clark Cochran of Roswell, Georgia; Amy and Austin Person of Memphis, Tennessee; and Sarah Bennett of Boston, MA; his great-grandchildren, Bennett James Cochran and Blakely Scott Person; and his sisters and brothers-in law, Carol and Gary Ulery, and Mary Jane and Gene Hennon. Memorial Service at Francis Ozog Funeral Home, Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Internment at Grandview Cemetery.
