Dolores J. Wotring, 79, of North Catasauqua passed away peacefully at Fellowship Manor surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 18th, 2014. She was the wife of Richard R. Wotring for 41 years until his passing on May 22nd, 1997. Born June 22nd, 1935 in Ruchsville, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Schmoyer) Gantz.
Dolores worked as a seamstress most of her life. She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall. Dolores was a long time member of the Northern Valley Ambulance Corp., ladies auxiliary
Survivors: her daughters, Debra A., wife of Robert G. Keenan, of N. Catasauqua, Brenda L., wife of Craig C. Gimbel, of Schnecksville, 4 grandchildren, Jennifer, wife of Rich Makatura, Zachary Keenan and his wife Tina, Ashley B. Gimbel and Laurie L. Gimbel, 4 great grandchildren, Kassandra Makatura, Ava Keenan, Owen Keenan and Ashlee Makatura, a brother, Lloyd Gantz and his wife Frances, of Schnecksville, her sisters, MaryAnn, wife of Gordon Williams, of Spring Mills, Pa., and Joanne Gantz-Jalowiecki, of Allentown, her sisters-in-law, Joanne Gantz, of Schnecksville, Dorothy Gantz, of Allentown, many nieces and nephews. Dolores was predeceased by her sister, Fern Muthard and her 3 brothers, Leroy, Leonard and Lester Gantz
Services: Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 23rd at 11:00am in Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church 3355 MacArthur Rd. Whitehall, Pa. Family and friends may call Tuesday 9am – 11:00am in the Church. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
