Hi Jim....Smith was her maiden name , the others were her husbands.

Dolly Smith was from Conn., She was born in Conn. in 1779. She met John Hendryx in N.Y. (Madison Co.), John was from Rhode Island. They married & lived in Madiso Co. untill after the birth of there 5th child . They then moved to Steuben Co.N.y. they had 6 more children. John died in a mill accident at the young age of 45. He was born in 1776 & died in 1821. Dolly then married James Griffith...he died in 1838. She then moved in with her daughter Susan (Hendryx) Monroe at New Lyme Ohio were she married Mr. Loveland....They moved to Greenville Pa. were she died at 94 years of age, 1874 One of there boys Waterbury M. Hendryx was my gggg Grandfather <grin> I mean John and Dollys of corse. No I never taled to Ken. I will soon The Harry Hendryx was unreadable, can you send it to me by snail mail , My Great Uncle was from Michigan then moved to Neb. then to Casper Wyo.
