Dinah Davis was born Haverhill 24 March 1706/7 (HVR 1:87), daughter of STEPHEN3 (Ephraim2 James1) and MARY (TUCKER) DAVIS. Dinah married first WILLIAM2 MUDGETT, born Salisbury, MA 16 October 1696 (SVR, p.l78), who died while working on a bridge over the falls near present-day Manchester, NH before 15 June 1730 (Essex Probate #19067 and Thomas Mudgett of Salisbury, MA and His Descendants, p.2), son of Thomas1 and Ann (French)(Long?) Mudgett. She married second as her second husband circa 1730 Ensign JAMES3 HEATH. She married third (unrecorded) PHILIP1 McCARGIN, who died before 1753. A marriage in Boston between Philip Carrigan and Margaret Ferguson 2 July 1741 is noted, but it is uncertain whether this is the same man. As Dinah "McCarrigan," she married fourth Haverhill 9 November 1753 (HVR 2:270) JOHN ROBINSON. She was living 16 March 1768 (NH Provincial Deed 96:530).
