Marianna, March 14 – DEMAS CRUMRINE, aged 81, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Brady McParty, of near here, at 6 o'clock tonight.
Mr. Crumrine was a highly respected citizen, having resided in this county all his life. He was a veteran of the Civil war, during which he served in Company I, of the First West Virginia cavalry.
He was the last of a family of eight. He was born October 15, 1845, the son of William and Priscilla Morgan Crumrine. His wife died about three year ago.
His daughter, Mrs. Brady McParty and two half-sisters, Mrs. Jefferson McRoberts, and Mrs. Ruth Richardson, both of Bentleyville, survive. There are five grandchildren.
Short funeral services will be held at the McParty home Wednesday at 1:30 o'clock, following which will be services at the Beallsville Methodist Episcopal church. Interment will be in the Beallsville cemetery.
