PLAIN CITY - Dolores "Marlene" Giordan, affectionately known as Mimi, 81, died on Monday, April 16, 2018, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, at her home in Plain City, Ohio.
Mimi was a resident of Plain City, Ohio, where she lived since relocating from Canfield, Ohio, in 1990. There she enjoyed a successful career as a Banquet Manager for Alberini's in Niles, Ohio. She was a consummate professional, planning events for local business leaders, politicians, and even a few celebrities.
After retiring, she warmly embraced raising full-time her two granddaughters Katie and Karlie. Mimi's single greatest passion in life was her family. She enjoyed cooking, holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her.
Preceded in death by her parents, Albert R. Loughner Sr., Helen C. Repinsky; and brothers, Ralph and Raymond Bowser.
She is survived by her children, Antonio Giordano, Lisa (Ralph) Smucker, Derek Giordano; grandchildren, Jami (Ryan) Morgan-Smucker, Bradley (Suzy) Smucker, Heidi (John) Sebestyen, Gabrielle (Cade) Prince, Katelynne (Aleck) Choraltis, Karlie Giordan, Cynthia Ballou, Angelina Giordano, Daniella Giordano; 11 great-grandchildren; and her loving brother, Albert (Helen) Loughner.
