MRS. HAYWORTH DIED SUDDENLY- RESIDENT FOR TWENTY YEARS Well Known Woman Attacked With Heart Failure While Preparing Meal. Mrs. Delilah Haworth 76, wife of William Haworth, died suddenly at her home, 1424 South F street last evening, about 5:30 o'clock, of heart failure. She was preparing the evening meal when she was stricken. Her husband saw she was about to fall and assisted her to her chair, death coming in a few minutes and before a physician could be summoned. Mrs. Haworth had been in apparently usual health during the day and had not complained of being ill. Her death greatly shocked the people of the community., being the second sudden visitation of the kind within a few days. Mrs. Haworth was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Orth and was born near Arcada, October 28, 1843(?). She was twice married. Her first husband was William Harvey and to their union was born three children, one of which died in infancy, Mrs. J.W. Newby of Arcadia and Mrs. W.A. Leeman residing near Aroma. After being a widow for twelve years, she was married to William Haworth and they had one child, Mrs. Howard Painter of Indianapolis. She was an affectionate mother to Alva Haworth, Mrs. Ernest Hawkins, Mrs. M. Beck and Omer Haworth, her step children, who deeply mourn her death. Mrs. Haworth was a good wife and mother and a much beloved neighbor and friend, having won the affection of all who knew her during her residence of twenty years in this city. She was a life-long member of the M.E. church, having her membership at Aroma. The funeral services will be conducted at the residence Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Farrow in charge, and the burial will be in the city cemetery.
