    Delbert Oscar Rector, 75, 409 ½ West 10«sup»th«/sup» , was found dead at his home about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

    Police Officer Robert Wineinger discovered the body when gene Timmerman, a neighbor of Mr. Rector, noticed a light on at the Rector house but no activity for two or three days. It is estimated Mr. Rector had been dead three or four days.

    The son of Lud and Nora (Bench) Rector, he was born July 22, 1901, in Barton County, where he lived all his life. He farmed for many years in the Milford, Newport areas. His wife Opal preceded him in death several years ago.

    Survivors include three sons, Dean Rector, state of California, John Rector, Farmington, New Mexico; and Wayne Rector, state of Idaho; one sister, Mrs. Zenna McCurdy, Zanesville, Ohio, and several grandchildren.

    Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Newport Cemetery, northeast of Lamar. Davie Barger will officiate.
