Delbert Gabbert CISCO- Delbert George 'Gabby' Gabbert, 71, of Cisco, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 in the Eastland Memorial Hospital. Graveside services with full Military honors was held Friday, April 29, 2005 at 10 a.m. in the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, directed by Kimbrough Funeral Home. Rev. Matthew McGowen officiating. Mr. Gabbert was born September 20, 1933 to George and Lois (Brooks) Gabbert in Callahan County, Texas. He married Kutsuko Gabbert. She preceded him in death in 1988. He was a Sergeant Major in the U.S. Marine Corps and served for 22 years in Korea, Vietnam and other Theaters. Survivors include daughters, Jeanne Hunt, Nena Clark, Gina Gabbert, all of Sacramento, CA. and Brenda Lily of Cloquet, MN; a son, Delbert George Gabbert; grandchildren, Angela Rodriguez, Christopher Carroll, Chase Hunt, Chelsea Hunt, Cameron Lily and Caitlyn Lily. Memorials may be made to the VFW in the Cisco-Eastland area
