- ↑ Built in 1732 as the West Parish Meeting House, it commanded the high vantage spot on the corner of Maple Ave and the Boston Post Road. It was moved to its current site in 1799 and its use broadened to a school house. in 1860, Joseph E. Brush, with Benjamin Wright, purchased the structure, altered it and opened Brush and Wright a general store -- the store and the immediate area was the primary business area in Greenwich. During the Civil war, the general store also became a post office. It became an antique shop in 1889 and remained so iuntil 1959 when it became an Outdoor Traders.
