↑ It is not known when Deborah was born, and hence who her mother was. It is possible first wife Deborah had one child, or none. Dorothy m. 1686, so probably born by 1668. Given the death of first wife Deborah, possibly in childbirth in 1665, one would presume that child, or if none survived, the next would be named Deborah, i.e., Deborah older than Dorothy. Since having both born to Elizabeth would make Dorothy a little young to marry in 1686, it seems most likely Deborah was born to the first wife in 1665, and Dorothy to the second wife say 1667 or 1668. However, this is just speculation as the birth or age at death is known for neither.
