Mrs. Emma Bascom Little. DAR ID Number: 57155 Born in Hebron, Conn. Wife of Payson E. Little. Descendant of Sergt. Nathan Kinne, of Connecticut. Daughter of John H. Bascom and Mariamne Holbrook, his wife. [p.53] Granddaughter of Daniel Holbrook and Emily Kinne, his wife. Gr-granddaughter of Nathan Kinne and Deborah Knight, his wife. Nathan Kinne (1751-98) was sergeant, 1776, in Capt. Zebadiah Ingall's company, Col. Ebenezer Williams' regiment, which marched in defense of New York. He died at Windham, Conn. Also No. 9944.

Descendant of George Avery, Ensign John Holbrook, and Sergt. Nathan Kinne, as follows: 1. Hollis Lyman Avery (1841-1908) m. 1869 Emily O. Holbrook (1845-1918). 2. Thatcher Avery (1790-1875) m. 1825 Juliann Lyman (1807-89); Nathan Kinne Holbrook (1815-97) m. 1836 Jane Porter (1817-1907). [p.82] 3. George Avery m. Mary Sanborn; Daniel Holbrook (1791-1878) m. Emily Kinne (1794-1842). 4. John Holbrook m. Sarah ? (1747-1814); Nathan Kinne m. 1773 Deborah Knight (1750-1845). George Avery (1759-1857) received a pension for service as private in the Connecticut, Vermont and Massachusetts troops. He was born in Truro, Mass.; died in Plainfield, N. H. John Holbrook served as ensign from Windham County, Conn. He was born, 1735; died in Columbia, Tolland County, Conn. Nathan Kinney (1751-98) served as sergeant in Captain Ingall's 8th company, Col. Ebenezer Williams' 11th Connecticut regiment. He was born in Pomfret; died in Windham, Conn.
