    Dean Thompson Hazlett, age 81, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016, at Grace Healthcare.

    Dean was born December 28, 1934, in Monona, IA, to the late George Irwin Hazlett and Florence Thompson Hazlett. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Venna Imogene Hazlett; one sister, Vivienne Lepine; two brothers, Edgar Hazlett and James Hazlett; and one grandson, Robby Guy.

    Mr. Hazlett retired as a Command Sergeant Major from the US Army. His service included tours in both Korea and Vietnam.

    Visitation will be Friday, June 17, from 8:30 to 11:00 AM, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. Committal service will follow, at 12:00 Noon, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, in Hopkinsville.

    Dean is survived by one son, two daughters, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
