David Ziegler (July 13, 1748 – September 24, 1811) was a German immigrant to the United States who served in the U.S. military and became the first mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Will of David Zeigler deceased of Hamilton County, Ohio
Names sister Lady Susannah Elizabeth Detroch, nephew Joseph Pierce, son Ch___, nephew Charles R Green, nephew Daniel Pierce, niece Phebe Peirce to be paid out by Joseph Pierce, niece Sophia Cooper, niece Mariah Green, niece Susan Green, Jacob Burnett [for his attention as a compensation in settling the Estate of George W. Burnett], and lastly bequeaths to "my dear wife Lucianna Zeigler all my estate real and personal and mixed excepting the sums necessary to discharge the above mentioned legacies"
Mentions "land lately purchased of John Smith", "My shares stocks monies and interest in the Bank of Pennsylvania as well as that in the Bank of Philadelphia which interest and stock in the two last mentioned Banks I wish to be disposed of my the assistance of James Findley and Jacob Burnett the proceeds of the same to be applied to the purchasing of shares in the Bank of Miami Exporting Company which shall be for the use and benefit and disposal of my said wife together with all my Bonds notes due Bills Book accounts"
