Wife of son was daughter of Ebenezer Severance and Hannah Brooks, as shown by being named "my Daughter Hannah Risley" in will of her father [Hampshire Probate, dated 8 Jan 1770, proved 5 Jul 1791. [Misidentification blamed on inaccurate age at death, though where Jacobus got his birth date of 1741/2 is unclear (it is found in Source:Severance, John F. Severans Genealogical History, though the records of Northfield do not seem to contain this date [1], nor is any birthdate reported by History of Northfield).]
