Died in Washington County, date unknown; Will War of 1812 records shows a David Trotter in 3rd Regiment Johnson's E Tennessee Militia. Unknown if same David Trotter. Confirmed: Greene Co TN That Wm McClure and David Trotter bond for $1250 for marriage between Wm McClure and Eleanor E Purdom. Signed 11 Nov 1813 Wm. McClure and David Trotter attest by V Sevier He is believed to be the David Trotter that married JANE ALEXANDER 14 Jan 1818 in Woodford Co KY with children; Isabella, Alexander, John Milton, Preston Addison and Sarah Trotter. |
