Influential in creating Danvers as separate town. "He was last taxed in 1767, his estate was taxed in 1768, and his will proved in 1769." Will mentions son William, daughters Lucy, Mehetable Sparhawk and Eunice, sons Joseph, Israel, and youngest Jesse.
