David Milks, 83, dies; was ill eight weeks. David Milks, 83 years old , died Tuesday evening at 9:30 , at his home at 419 Center St. after having been ill the past eight weeks. He was born in Persia, New York , and had lived in this vicinity , nearly his entire life. Besides his widow Mrs. Hattie Milks, he is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Harry Williams of Great Valley, Mrs. Albert Winsor of Center St., Mrs. George Webster of Great Valley, Mrs. Charles Chapman of Franklinville and Mrs. Leo Terhune of Center St.; by three brothers, Robert milks of Rochester, Michigan, and care milks of Great Valley and Frank milks of East Otto; by 26 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held from the family home at 419 Center St., Saturday afternoon at 1:45, and from the UB church of West Salamanca at two o'clock. Rev. H. S. Kissinger , will officiate. Burial level be in the family plot and Chamberlain Cemetery, Great Valley.

Funeral of David Milks. The funeral of David Milks was held from the family home at 419 Center St. Saturday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock and from the West Salamanca UB church at two o'clock. Several local selections were given by Mrs. Fred Rettburg, accompanied by Mrs. Dan Sweet. Rev. H. S. Kissinger officiated. Internment was made in the family plot and Chamberlain Cemetery, Great Valley.
The bearers were David Christian, Walter Chapman, Carol Webster, William Terhune, Lagerne Winsor and Harry Winsor. Out of town relatives and friends attending were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Chapman of Franklinville, Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Clark, Mr. and Mrs. George Webster, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Milks and family of Great Valley, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Creeley and Mr. and Mrs. Lagerne Winsor of Olean, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Edison and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Milks of Bradford, PA, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shaw and family of Coudersport, PA, Mr. and Mrs. Edison Marble of Buffalo, Mr. and Mrs. John Metcalf , and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Haas of Ashtabula, Ohio.
