Indenture made 3rd/5th November 1766 between DAVID JONES £. his wife MILDRED of county King George & parish Brunswick and JOEL ANCOROM of county King George and parish aforesaid .. by deeds of lease and release .. for sum Two hundred pounds .. sold all that parcel of land now in possession of Joel Ancorom being in parish Brunswick £. county King George & part in Westmoreland County & part in Stafford County containing 130 acres it being one half of a tract of land granted THOS. HARVEY late of county Richmond deced for 220 acres as by deeds bearing date 20th July 1697 &since equally divided betwixt WILLIAM WHEELER & FRANCIS BALTROP corner tree of said Jones & WILLIAM SKINKER .. corner tree to Mr. HORATIO DADE .. land formerly BEN EDWARDS now in possession of DAVID JONES .. corner to William Wheeler .. small maple standing on Kings Dam corner to Mr. WILLlAM FITZHUGH .. also another parcel of land being in countys Westmoreland & Stafford containing about 100 acres .. bounded on the land of FRANCIS BALTHROP deced on the land of WILLIAM WHEELER deced & on land of SAML. THORNBERY

Will of AARON GRIGSBY.
