David4 Hubbard (John3, John2, George1), born at Glastonbury, Conn., about 1697, died there (Eastbury), 15 Oct. 1760, in his 63d year (gravestone); married Prudence Goodrich, born at Wethersfield, 18 June 1701, died at Glastonbury, 29 Nov. 1783, in her 83d year (gravestone), daughter of Col. David2 and Prudence (Churchill) Goodrich. She married second, Judah Holcomb.
He served as Deputy for Glastonbury, May 1726, May, Sept. and Oct. 1727, May and Oct. 1729, May and Oct. 1730, May and Oct. 1731, May and Oct. 1732, Feb., May and Oct. 1733, Oct. 1734, and May 1735. He was established Captain of the second company in Glastonbury, Oct. 1731. The will of David Hubbard, Esq., of Glastonbury, gave to his beloved wife, Prudence, her thirds; sons, Hezekiah and Roswell Hubbard; two sons, Elizur and Aaron Hubbard; children of son, David, late deceased; three daughters, Hannah Nye, Honour White, and Prudence Sumner. Witnesses: John Kimberly, Stephen Strickland, Jonathan Strickland, Jr."
