I am sure that David Hatch b. 8 Aug 1709 in Scituate, Plymouth Co., MA, son of Thomas Hatch and Hannah Cudworth [Early VRs of Plymouth Co.,Scitute Births: "Hatch, David, [twin] s. Thomas and Hannah, Aug. 8, 1709."] is the David that married Jemima Norton as a second wife, with no issue from the marriage. The biggest clue is in the will of Jemima Hatch. I don't have the will, but prior correspondence from you included the following: "Will of Jemima Hatch dated 9 Aug 1784 [Plymouth Co., MA Probate Book 29:539-540]. Jemima left her estate [lands in the Southerly part of Boston which she bought from John Hatch of Bridgewater, son of her late husband, David Hatch]... Niece Hannah James, executrix." Note, LANDS BOUGHT FROM JOHN HATCH OF BRIDGEWATER, SON OF HER LATE HUSBAND, DAVID HATCH. Also, no Hatch heirs for Jemima were named. David married (1) his 2nd cousin, Mary Turner, d/o Jonathan Turner and Marcy/Mercy Hatch, 25 Apr 1729 at Scituate. Children of David and Mary are: David, Mary, John (the John who sold land to his step-mother, Jemima), Mercy & Lydia. Kaye
