    David Henry Fye was the third of eight children born to David Wesley Fye and Jemima Bloom. He was born in Ferguson, Centre County, where he grew up.

    David married Susan Rebecca Krumrine (daughter of John Krumrine and Rosetta Musser) in Centre County in 1875, and they had three children: Dolly Catherine (born 1875), Mary Alberta (born 1878), and Eva Irene (born 1883).

    David was a farmer in Centre County, PA for many years. David and his family moved to Tyrone, Blair County, PA sometime before 1900, where he was a retail grocer. By 1910 he was retired, doing odd jobs.

    David's wife, Susan, preceded him in death in 1918.
