    Barbour gives him a son Otis, baptized 28 December 1740 at West Hartford. However, this son is not mentioned in his 1759 will, and his son Eliphalet had a son Oatis (Otis) born at New Hartford, 23 December 1740, who appears to be the one baptized five days later at West Hartford.
