The following records indicate that David Eddleman had died abt. 1778-1780:


1778 Catherine Eddleman claimed to have settled on land in KY
1780 Catherine Eddleman applies for Certificate for 400 acres. The Land Court authorizes issue of a Certificate for 400 acres. Apparently David Eddleman is deceased; otherwise he would have applied for the land. John Smith represented Catherine at the Land Court. Next step is to get the land surveyed.
1783 Catherine Eddleman is granted 3__ acres for settling on it in 1778.
