DAVID COON, farmer, Sec. 28; P. O. Walworth; Mr. Coon was born in Rhode Island in 1810; his parents removed to Brookfield, Madison Co., N. Y., when he was a child, where he was brought up; then removed to Jefferson Co., where he lived till 1846, when he came to Walworth Co. and settled in the town of Walworth, where he has since lived. His wife was Miss Hannah M. Clark; she was born in the town of Brookfiled, Madison Co., in 1812; his father, David Coon, came to the town of Walworth in 1852, and died in 1858; his mother died in 1870. Mr. and Mrs. Coon have two children - Louisa A., wife of William R. Bonham, and Lucy J., now Mrs. Marcus G. Godfrey.
