    David Keyes Cheever, son of Daniel (5), was born in Princeton, Massachusetts, 1804, and died in Princeton, Massachusetts, August 20, 1873. He was a farmer in Princeton and through his active life. When a young man he served in the state militia. In politics a Whig, later a Republican. He was a member of the Congregational church. He married, October 5, 1824, at Princeton, Miriam Norcross, daughter of Jacob and Isabel Norcross, of Princeton. She died in Leominster, Massachusetts, July 12, 1859. This name Miriam is spelled often in the records Merriam.
