The language of Blake and Crane creates some confusion in identifying their children. As Crane notes their children do not appear in Princeton VR. William Johnson is the spouse of Hepzibah Cheever. Blake indicates Mary and Polly are two different people (Mary marrying a Darling). Elijah is Elijah Darling who married Mary Cheever. Elijah and Polly Darling are named as the parents of George who married in 1846, a 20. From this it is quite probable that Mary & Polly are the same person. Bartholomew 2d is a 2nd because his Uncle Bartholomew was still living.
Based on the foregoing a list of children (7) of Daniel Cheever and Elizabeth(Betty) Keyes would be: Hepzibah, Bartholomew, Mary (Polly), Daniel, David Keyes, Jacob and James.
