David Winfield Bedford, 84, of Beallsville, died Monday, January 1, 1979, at 11 p.m. in Brownsville Hospital shortly after being admitted.
He was born August 24, 1894, in Ten Mile, a son of Charles F. and Ola M. Crumrine Bedford.
He was a Protestant, a veteran of World War I, a member of VFW Post 5454, Bentleyville, Centerville American Legion Post, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 1809, Bentleyville.
He was a retired auto mechanic, working for Bell Motor Co., Bentleyville.
Surviving are one sister, Goldie Bedford, McDonald R.D.4; one niece, Nellie Polen, Washington; three great-nieces; one great-nephew, and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
On Januare 2, 1918, he married Mary Guthrie, who is deceased.
One son and one sister, Lulu are deceased.
