Obituary

DIES AT HOME, DAVID S ADAMS WAS EMPLOYEE AT WESTINGHOUSE 22 YEARS: David S Adams, 69, of 437 Woodland avenue, died of a heart attack at his home Friday afternoon. Mr Adams was a Westinghouse employee for 22 years. He retired three years ago. Born in Mansfield 8 Aug 1873, he spent his entire life here. Surviving are his widow Bessie; three sons, Floyd K Adams of Mansfield, Barney F Adams and William C Adams, both serving overseas with the US army; one daughter, Mrs Raymond Tyson of Ashland; two brothers, Samuel and Clark Adams of Mansfield; one sister Mrs Etta Anliker also of Mansfield; three grandchildren, David L and Carole Sue Adams and Kay Karen Tyson, all of Mansfield. The body was removed to the Wappner funeral home where services will be held Monday at 3 pm in charge of Rev A.F. Lindbeck, pastor of Mayflower Congregational church. Burial will be in Mansfield cemetery. [Mansfield paper 12 May 1945]
