Mr. McGee retired in 1993. Darrold was known as a "big kid". He never met a stranger and teased everyone he knew. He had a big heart, a love for life and a contagious sense of humor. He was involved in the scouting organization as a cub master for many years. For the past 40 years he worked with the children and youth in Sunday School and youth ministries sharing the love of Jesus. He had a great love for children and enjoyed the precious time he spent with them. Darrold also enjoyed drawing pictures of Mickey Mouse, in fact this became his signature over the years. He also enjoyed collecting antiques. He served our country during the Korean War and was honorably discharged from the United States Army.
