From Toronto Star - Feb. 9, 2005 MONTAGUE-DOWNEY, Darlene (nee Turpel) - Gone to be with her Lord on Monday February 7, 2005 at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, in her 69th year. Beloved wile of Richard, loving mother and stepmother of Cory and Maureen., Troy, Lorrie and her husband Richard Cooke, Todd and his wife Melissa, and Tim. Much loved Grandma of April, Steven and the late Kent. Caring sister and best friend of Dianne and her husband Bill Ward. Sharyn and her husband Henri Lambert, Wayne and his wife Mary Turpel. Lovingly remembered by many nieces lid nephews.Very special friend of Elaine Quinton. Also missed by her loving pet Casey. Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel," 52 Main Street South (Hwy. 10), Brampton, on Wednesday from 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Ward Funeral Chapel on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. Internment to take place at Brampton Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
