Mr. Danny O. Shoffner BURLINGTON — Mr. Danny O. Shoffner, 55, of 2872 Huffman Mill Road, died Sunday, July 25, 1999, at his home after a sudden illness. A native of Guilford County, he was the husband of Mrs.. Diane G. Shoffner, who survives, and the son of Mrs.. Rivers Stovall Shoffner, who survives, and the late Mr. Norman Lee Shoffner. He was corporate director of production and manufacturing at Shoffner Industries LLC. He was a member of the Burlington Moose Lodge and was a Army veteran (SP 4, US Army) of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Low’s Lutheran Church. Survivors other than his wife of the home and mother of Burlington include two sons, Mr. Shannon O. Shoffner of the home and Mr. Shawn L. Shoffner of Graham; two sisters, Mrs.. Norma L. McDaniel of Greensboro and Mrs.. Diann S. Edwards of Graham; two brothers, Mr. Ronnie Shoffner and Mr. Mike R. Shoffner, both of Graham; and a grandchild. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Low’s Lutheran Church by the Rev. W.N. Hoss, pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, and the Rev. Ebern Allen, pastor of Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be in Low’s Lutheran Church cemetery. The family will be at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Low’s Lutheran Church, 2136 N.C. 61 South, Liberty, N.C. 27298.
