His widow married his brother. Daniel, 22, and his brother Solomon and cousin Peter, were privates in Captain Henry Abbot's Company of Andover and they marched to the Alarm at Lexington on 19 April 1775; 1 1/2 days with 50 miles travel home was allowed.
