    Thursday, 31 Oct 1963, section 1, page 2DANIEL E. SCHWAGERDaniel E. Schwager, 63, of Sumneytown, widower of Elizabeth (Engle) Schwager, died Tuesday night in Allentown Hospital. Mr. Schwager was a retired employee of Ettelison Clothing Company, Sumneytown. Born in Marlborough township, he was the son of the late Daniel and Ellen (Barndt) Schwager. Surviving are two daughters, Leona, wife of Edward Devlin, Philadelphia; Shirley, wife of John Herrlinger, Sumneytown; a son, Harold, Philadelphia; a sister, Mrs. Edna Ferkins, Sumneytown; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p. m. in the Benner Funeral Home, Red Hill. Interment will be in Frieden's Union Cemetery, Sumneytown. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday between 7 and 9 p. m. T. Howard Benner, funeral director, is in charge of services.
