[Case 49073: Daniel Read of Uxbridge]
On 7 May 1744 widow Sarah declined administration in favor of her father Joseph Taft of Uxbridge.
A note dated 24 Mar 1740 [sic, probably 1749] by Stephen Hall, husband of the former Sarah Read, says Joseph Taft died, and assents to Samuel Read, who is appointed admin. de bonis non on 24 Apr 1749.
Accounting dated 6 Apr 1762 mentions Abigail Murdock, "mother of the deceased", and "will of Tho's Read Brother of ye Deceased".
Division 4 Apr 1780, 1/3 to widow, now Sarah Hall, eldest son Thomas Read, next son Daniel Read, daughter Sarah Potter.
