At the time of his marriage in 1826 his marriage record stated Daniel was son of Daniel, Parish of Dunoon. {I have problem with this. There is a record of a Daniel born to Archibald at Rothesay at the right time,; however the distance from Rothesay to Dunoon is under 10 K - but a bit of a row.]

Died at 2 PM in the Infirmary Greenock. Daniel died from Congestion of Lungs from Submersion
