Obituaries with picture DANIEL LASER

   Daniel Laser, one of the old and well known citizens of Bremen, died last evening at the St. Joseph hospital in Mishawaka, where he was taken last week for treatment.  He was 79 years old.
 Mr. Laser was born Dec. 3, 1855, and had spent most of his life in Bremen until three years ago, when his wife died.  Since then he has spent much of the time with his children here and at Nappanee and Mishawaka.
  Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 at the home of his son, Clarence Laser, and at 2:00 at Salem Evangelical church, Rev. Elmer Smith officiating, with Rev. A. A. Knepper of Mishawaka assisting.  Burial will be in the Bremen cemetery.

FUNERAL HELD

   Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Salem Evangelical church for Daniel Laser, whose death was recorded in the Enquirer last week.
  Mr. Laser was seventy-nine years old, having been born at Youngstown, Ohio, December 3, 1855.  On December 21, 1879 he was united in marriage with Susan Sherk, who preceded him in death on June 6, 1931.  Mr. Laser had a keen interest in flowers and in recent years spent a large portion of his time in caring for his garden.
  Surviving relatives are three sons, Clarence of Bremen and George and Claude of Nappanee;  two daughters, Mrs. Daisy Larson of South Bend and Mrs. Bertha Mikel of Mishawaka.  There are nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

UNUSUAL DEATH RECORD
   Rev. Elmer Smith of Salem Evangelical church reports an unusual record of the death of three members of his church on three consecutive days.  Their funeral services were held in the same church on three consecutive afternoons.  Rev. Mr. Smith assisted by Rev. A.A. Knepper if Mishawaka, officiated at all three funerals, which were for Mrs. Margaret Walmer, Daniel Laser, and Mrs. Herman Gerger.  At the funeral of Daniel Laser, the service of his wife in 1931 was duplicated by having the same minister, the same text, the same singers, and the same pall bearers, and a similar casket.
