Daniel Hill was probably born in Kittery, Maine in about 1734. He married Elizabeth Holmes, daughter of Ephraim Holmes and Sarah Finney, 18 July 1764. They had seven children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Maine, New Brunswick, Minnesota and California.
