Mr. Furney was born in Florence and was a lumberman. He was a veteran of World War I. Surviving besides his wife, Mrs. Eva Roser Furney, are: four daughters, Mrs. Marion Mulvaney, Camden; Mrs. Clara Johnson, Williamstown; Mrs. Fannie Durgan, Altmar, and Mrs. Hazel Miller, Wolcott; two sons, Donald Furney of Ansonia, Conn., and Lawrence Furney of Binghamton; two brothers, William and Roy Furney, Muncie, Ind.; and two sisters, Mrs. Edna Corby, Muncie, and Mrs. Nora Harrington, North Syracuse; also 15 grandchildren...
